Ingredients of Bitter Gourd Chips
- 100 gm bitter gourd
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 cup refined oil
How to make Bitter Gourd Chips
Step 1 Prepare the Bitter GourdWash the bitter gourd, cut it into round chips and remove the seeds in the middle of chips. Soak these bitter gourd chips in the water mixed with salt for at least 5 minutes, so that its bitterness is reduced.
Step 2 Marinate the chips wellStrain the chips and wash them with clean water once. In a bowl, add jeera powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and a pinch of salt. Mix well and add bitter gourd chips into it. Mix well to coat chips with spices. Keep it covered with a lid for 5 min.
Step 3 Prepare the rice and corn flour coatingIn another plate or bowl, mix rice flour and corn flour together. After the flour mixture is mixed well, add Bitter gourd chips into it as per requirement. Mix well so that chips are coated with flour from all sides.
Step 4 Deep fry the chipsIn a kadhai, heat cooking oil on medium flame. On a low flame, fry these bitter gourd chips till golden brown and crunchy. The tasty recipe is ready to eat.
